The LAX blitz was a huge success. We had more than 20 teams on the ground this past Saturday and Sunday (July 11- 13).

Nearly 30 volunteer mechanic organizers from FedEx, Continental Airlines, United Airlines, Air Canada were joined by four FedEx drivers, eight volunteers from Local 986, and 13 organizers from the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

We knocked on hundreds of doors. Most of the co-workers we contacted were happy to see us. There is no doubt that  the blitz created a buzz in the work place that re-invigorated the workers and put management on notice that the Teamsters are here to stay!

A home visit is a great opportunity to get questions answered and learn more about the benefits of forming a union away from work demands.
